What would Jung say?

In the culmination of the artists 8-year journey with a Jungian analyst, her profound interest in Jung's psychology has seamlessly woven into her artistic expression. Through one initial element or idea that develops into a stream of consciousness, Gabriella’s intention is for the spectator to be able to relate based on the thesis of the collective unconscious – term that refers to [in a nutshell] the shared, universal reservoir of experiences, symbols, and archetypes inherent in all human beings. It encompasses common themes and symbols that emerge in dreams, myths, and cultural expressions, reflecting shared aspects of the human experience across different cultures and times.

Her art, influenced by recurring dreams and meditative experiences, often abstractly portrays nature, echoing the nonrealistic essence of Jung's theories. As exemplified in 'The Boat,' the artists creative exploration mirrors the Jungian interpretation, where the vessel becomes a conduit through the mysterious waters of the unconscious mind.
