The Beat Generation was a social and literary movement that took place in 50’s.
Beat artists rejected conventanionality along the capitalistic feature of American life.


The Beat movement praised the expression of free-flowing thoughts and ideas, incorporating the use of drugs, sexuality, and the experimental nature of jazz music into their work.




Redesigning a set of three counterculture literary classics through collage visually represents the free-form/stream of conscious beats’ technique. The goal was to capture the essence of the subculture in accordance with each book's theme.
